The 2026 RPAC Adventure Challenge

24th Annual RPAC: Prescott, Arizona

Friendship, fun and remembrance head to the Arizona high country. Seventeen competitors, two newcomers and one returning old-timer (welcome back, Jason Varley!) converge on Prescott for two days of loosely “athletic” competition, November 6-7, 2026.

The Plan

Schedule at a glance

Tue, Nov. 3 Scouting crew arrives
Thu, Nov. 5 Arrival day and reunion
Fri, Nov. 6 RPAC Day One (from 8 a.m.), bowling to close the night
Sat, Nov. 7 RPAC Day Two, BBQ, poker and corn hole into the dark
Sun, Nov. 8 Golf scramble (with prizes), football, lounging
Mon-Tue Hiking and rock climbing for those who stick around

The Stages

Iron Man events: trail run (3-5 miles), mountain bike (4-7 miles) and kayak.

Individual events: free throws (the opener, at the house this year), field goal kick, punt & pass, home run derby, bowling, obstacle course and shot put or discus.

Team events: bowling, Anchor Man, corn hole and, new this year, pickleball.

Stages may change based on scouting once the crew is on the ground. Zebra riding was considered and rejected (sorry, Kevin).
